Timothy Maneely was elected into the
Mid-Hudson USBC Hall of Fame for ability. Tim was born September 1979 in Newburgh, NY to his parents, Richard and Rose Maneely. He met his wife, Cassandra, in 1998 at Safari Joes, fell in love and got married in October of 2004. Together they moved to Poughkeepsie, NY where they share a beautiful daughter, Isabella.
Tim worked for the City of Newburgh DPW as a Working Foreman for 16 years. In 2024, Tim started working for Central Hudson where he was recently promoted to Facilities Supervisor.
Tim developed his love for bowling from his father at the age of 5. He remembers going Sunday mornings and Monday evenings to Pat Tarsio Lanes to watch his father bowl league, “Tony or his father Pat would turn a lane on and let me bowl until I couldn’t. I cannot thank the Tarsio family enough.” He bowled junior leagues with Carmella DeAngelo, who was amazing to all the kids, until he was 16 years old. He looked forward to bowling Saturday mornings with Nick Wells, Pat Tarsio, Brian Kilpatrick, Vinnie Pignataro and many others.
Tim’s long resume includes an abundance of 300 games, which he has had at Pat Tarsio Lanes, Spins Bowl Carmel, Bowling Time Lanes and Hoe-Bowl Country Lanes in Hyde Park. He has also compiled 10-800 series and numerous 11 in a row games. He is most proud of his high series (868) that he bowled at Pat Tarsio Lanes. In addition to his passion for bowling, Tim also shares a passion for fishing, hunting and softball. He is looking forward to enjoying life with his family and friends.
Congratulations Timmy

Donald Persons was elected into the Mid-Hudson USBC Hall of Fame for
ability. Don was born in Goshen, NY on September 8, 1975 to the late John Persons and Laura Steiert. Don grew up in various cities and towns in California and New York based on his fathers work transfers early in life. Don currently lives in Middletown, New York with his wife of 22 years, Ria and their 19 year old son Brandon.
Don has worked for Gillette Creamery, now known as Glacier Point Enterprises, for 24 years. He drove a truck for deliveries for 19 years and has been an account manager for the past 5 years. Don started bowling youth leagues at the young age of 10 up in Albany NY, but his love of the game started around 14 years old when he lived in Livermore CA. He started bowling with his brothers Mike and Dave. He would constantly bowl either in league or sub for a team that needed a bowler. He started working the desk at Granada bowl shortly after. When he wasn't working he would bowl, probably 50 to 100 games a week sometimes more, this house became his second home. In 1993, when he was 17, he moved to Middletown NY to live with his grandparents. This is where he really started to learn more of the game and his competitive bowling began. Don bowled his first 300 and 800 in September 1994 at Middletown Lanes. He proudly averaged in the 210-220 range for his first 6 years in the Mid Hudson Area. He has now carried close to a 230 average or better for the past 20 years in many different venues around the Mid Hudson region, including but not limited to Quinzz Pinz formerly known as Middletown Lanes, Walden Lanes, Tarsio lanes, Bowling Time Lanes, Colonial Lanes and Fishkill Bowl. Don has approximately one hundred 300 games and 800 series scores. His highest series he has ever bowled, 856, was in 2014 at Chester Colonial Lanes. He currently bowls at Fishkill Bowl and Quinzz Pinz in Middletown.
Don has met many friends and acquaintances in his many years of bowling and many have become like family to him. Thank you to all my teammates throughout the years. Bowling has been a great part in the shaping of his life, more than anyone would know. Besides bowling, he loves the game of baseball. He loved watching his son Brandon play as well as coaching him for many years when he was younger. When he’s not working or bowling, he spends his free time with his wife and his dog Milo. Don would like to thank Mike Luongo for drilling his bowling equipment in the early years before he retired from his pro shop. Also, a HUGE Thank You to John Lewis for 20 plus years of friendship and personally drilling my equipment and advising me on the next best bowling ball which has resulted in huge scores throughout the years.
Congratulations Donny
